About me as an Artist.
Hello and Welcome to my blog. I am a 21 year old aspiring artist studying a Foundation degree in Creative arts for employment at Macclesfield College and am in my second year of the course. I am mainly a photographer but also enjoy printmaking.
The Foundation degree is helping me progress as an artist and explore different techniques I haven't experienced before. The course is helping me set myself up to be an individual artist and has given me chance to create, exhibit and put up for sale my recent artwork, some of which has been created from a trip to Barcelona which I really enjoyed. The course has boosted my confidence as an artist and i cant wait to progress from here.
All my current and recent work will be updated regularly on my blog, as well as some past work that has been exhibited.
Before my current course I did a Foundation Studies in Art & Design, this helped me progress to where I am now and find out what stands out to me in Art and which area I would like to develop my skills in.
Before the Foundation Studies Course i did a two year BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design. This course followed my GCSE in high school in 2008. It gave us the chance to experience most aspects of art from drawing to fashion.
